Kirstie Melinda Ward

MOULTRIE, GEORGIA – Kirstie Melinda Ward, 52, of Moultrie, passed away Friday, October 9, 2026, at her home.

The family will have a funeral service at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Colquitt County Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Anderson officiating.

Born June 6, 1974, in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Ward and Shirley Anderson. Kirstie was a devoted family member who always made sure her loved ones were cared for, especially during the holidays, when she took great joy in making those occasions special for her family. She was a self-taught individual who took pride in learning new things and developing her own skills. Her caring nature, and her love for her family were special qualities that those who knew her will fondly remember.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Ellis.

Survivors include her children, Hannah Ward, Raul Lara, Viviana Lara, Sandra Ward, Javier Ward and Erasto Ward; grandchildren, Emily Morales-Ward, Oscar Morales-Ward, Bailey Morales-Ward, Fabian Morales-Ward, and Olivia Morales-Ward; siblings, Tim Ellis, Robin Ward, Amy Ward and Todd Ward; several other extended family members and friends.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
