Norman Park, Georgia - Juanita Woodard Gay, age 85, of Norman Park, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2026, with her husband by her side.

Born on July 26, 1941, in Greenville, Florida, Juanita was the oldest of five children born to Jesse and Lois Woodard. She spent her life dedicated to her family and career as a teller at Southwest GA Bank, retiring after 27 years. She enjoyed baking and had a passion for cross stitching, spending many long hours on her beautiful works of art.

Juanita is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jimmie Gay; and children, Joey Gay (Terry) of Byron, Georgia, and Tina Wendt (Timothy) of Ballground, Georgia; several grandchildren; and one sister, Lillian Roberts (Charles) of Cocoa, Florida. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, three sisters and one brother.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 2:00 pm, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, Moultrie, Georgia. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Casketbearers are Shane Keigans, Jay Saunders, Alec Pucci, Brantley Sims, Davy Yeomans and Carl Brown.
