Joshua Stephen Hart

BARBOURSVILLE, WV – Joshua Stephen Hart, 36, of Barboursville, WV, formerly of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Wilbur Shaffer, Reverend Richard Nash and the Reverend Buddy Driggers officiating.  

The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 AM Tuesday at Cobb Funeral Chapel. 

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, June 17, 2023, in Hart Cemetery in Barboursville, WV, with the Reverend Bill Fulks officiating.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in Hart Cemetery.  Koontz Funeral Home in Barboursville, VA will be in charge of burial arrangements. 

Born September 15, 1986, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of Steven Hart and Debbie Nash Hart of Moultrie.  Joshua was a truck driver with KC Logistic and attended Church of God of Prophecy.  He was a good, loving, hardworking husband, and father who loved his family dearly, loved life, and always made people laugh.  Joshua was an avid FSU fan and enjoyed baseball and riding motorcycles.   

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah and Cecil Nash, Brannon Hart, Jesina Whitehurst Wells; special uncle, Jerry Hart.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Brittany Toppins Hart of Barboursville, WV; children, Joshua Haden Hart, Jackson Stephen Hart, River Jade Hart, Stormy Nunn, and Piper Nunn all of Barboursville, WV; several special extended family members and friends. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hart Family.
