John Wolter

John A. Wolter, 79, of Meigs, GA, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born December 18, 1941, of St. Cloud, Minnesota, he was the son of the late Loren Wolter and Mary Gotten Wolter.  Mr. Wolter was a Regional Sales Manager with Hoechst-Roussell Pharmaceuticals. He enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his Labrador dogs.  He was of the Catholic faith.  Mr. Wolter loved being with Virginia Tillman and living in South Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Susan Wolter Foerster.

Survivors include his son, Chuck Wolter and daughter, Tiffanie Wolter Melius; grandchildren, Zach Wolter, Hannah Wolter, Jack Wolter, McKenzie Melius, Jake Melius; and sister, Barbara A. Wolter.
