John Daniel Clark, Jr.

MOULTRIE, GA – John Daniel Clark, Jr., 61, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.  

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Rose of Sharon Cemetery with the Reverend Stephen Massey officiating.   

The family will receive friends Saturday after the service in Rose of Sharon Church Social Hall.  

Born October 9, 1962, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of John and Judy Clark, Sr. of Moultrie and the late Johnnie Ricks Lassiter.   Mr. Clark was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.  He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working the farm.  Mr. Clark was independent, caring man who loved his family dearly.  

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Clark Tate. 

In addition to his father, John Daniel Clark, Sr. of Moultrie, survivors include his brother-in-law, Ken Tate; niece and nephew, Casey Tate, Rebekah Tate; several extended family members and friends. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Rose of Sharon Baptist Church, 231 Sam Sells Road, Doerun, GA. 31744.
