Joe Paton Kearce, Sr.

OMEGA, GA – Joe Paton Kearce, Sr., 65, of Omega, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

No formal funeral services will be held at this time.

Born July 21, 1958, in Plant City, Florida, he was the son of Joe Franklin Kearce and Faye Howell Kearce. Mr. Joe was a skilled paint and body man. He was a kindhearted, hardworking husband, father, grandfather and brother who loved his family dearly. Mr. Joe was a jack-of-all-trades, and always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed the outdoors, working on the farm and going hunting and fishing. Mr. Joe was a fun-loving man who always wanted the people around him to be happy and smiling. 

He was preceded in death by his bonus son, Joey Howell.

In addition to his parents Mary and Joe Kearce, survivors include his beloved wife, Teressa Jo Hunt Kearce; children, Joe P. Kearce, Jr. and wife Stephanie, Tashla Kearce Moore, Misty McMillian Hernandez; bonus daughter, Staci Howell; blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings, Roxanne Cosper, Missie Kearce Phillips, Tony Kearce and wife Sheila, Marie Jobe and husband Jason; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
