Jimmy Wayne Ausburn

Jimmy Wayne Ausburn, 72, of Moultrie, died Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          A memorial service will be held 12:30PM Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Kingwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Matt Greene officiating.    Family will greet friends after the service at the church. 

          Born May 10, 1947 in Eastaboga AL, he was the son of the late Paul Harmon Ausburn and Gladys Weathers Ausburn.  Mr. Ausburn retired from Autrey State Prison as a correctional officer and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene Ausburn, Huey Ausburn, Charlie B. Ausburn, Donald Ausburn and Thomas Ausburn; sisters, Mary Lou Ausburn and Hattie Sue Ausburn.

          Survivors include his wife, Barbara Wood Ausburn of Moultrie; sons, Jimmy Lynn Ausburn and Joy, Robert Lester Cummings and Jennifer all of Moultrie; grandchildren, John Davis Ausburn, Wesley Cole Ausburn, Robert Conner Cummings, Canaan Madelynn Cummings; sisters, Carolyn Kelley and Raymond of Nashville GA, Claudine Sellers and Donnie of Coolidge GA.
