Jimmy Cletus Nichols, 69, of Pelham, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at River Brook Healthcare in Homerville, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 25, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Brian James officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM Monday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Born February 1, 1952, in North Carolina, he was the son of the late Thomas C. Raynor and Annie E. Croaker. Mr. Nichols retired from Southern Recap and Tire as a supervisor and was a member of First Baptist Church of Moultrie. He loved his family, enjoyed meeting people and caring for animals. In his spare time, he would watch western movies and play video games.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Karen Nichols.
Survivors include his children, Kacie Hannon and husband Mark of Moultrie, Stephanie Dowling and husband Chris of Pelham; grandchildren, Trace Frailey, Asher Exum, Kenneth James Hannon and Kenlee Hannon; sister, Cora Miller and husband Michael of Chattanooga, TN; special friends, Janice and Charles James; and other family members.
