Jesse L. Wilson

Jesse L. Wilson, 101 of Moultrie, passed away at his home with his loving family surrounding him.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Reverend Josh Toomey officiating.   Interment will follow at Zion Grove Cemetery with military honors.  

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Wilson was born March 27, 1922 in Haden, AL the son of the late Frances Angela Brazell Wilson and John Henry Wilson.  He served our country in the United States Marine Corps, loved his family, enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching westerns , building things, loved to sing and was a good Christian man. He was a member of Northwoods Church of God in Thomasville, GA.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Lola Stallings, Cora Boatwright, Willie Kimberly, and Joan Boyette.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Louise Sutton King Wilson of Moultrie; children, William Wilson and wife Kathleen of Thomasville, GA, Fred Dudley and Carol of Tallahassee, FL, Judith Anne Wolfe of Bradenton, FL, Carolyn Faye Phillips of Cape Coral, FL, Mary Ann Goss and husband Jim of Moultrie, Mike King and wife Lisa of Thomasville, GA, John King and wife Kimberly of Brunswick, GA,  Joanna King and friend Chuck Angelier of Meigs, GA; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
