Jerry Paul Young, Jr.

Jerry Paul Young, Jr. 54, of Norman Park, died Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          A memorial service will be held at a later date.

          Born October 30, 1966 in Tampa, FL, he was the son of Jerry Paul Young, Sr. of Norman Park and the late Mary Pearl “Jane” Manders Young.  Mr. Young was a self-employed dry wall installer and a member of Life Spring Community Church.  His family remembers how he loved music, enjoyed playing several musical instruments, fishing and was a wonderful grill master.

          In addition to his father, survivors include his sisters, Regina Young Carpino and husband John of Norman Park, Katrina Young and Cliff Surbaugh of Moultrie; brother, Gregory Kyle Young and wife Tracy of Florida; step-children, C.J. Murphy, Brittany Murphy; step-grandchildren, Kylie Jane Hancock, Savannah Hancock, Jace Hancock; several nieces, nephews, special friends and other family members.
