Jeri Vinson Pruette

MOULTRIE, GA- Jeri Vinson Pruette, 83, of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Franklin Vinson officiating.    The family will receive friends after the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel. 

Born May 23, 1940, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lewis Vinson and Louise Porter Vinson.  Mrs. Jeri was a retired teacher in Lowndes County Georgia.  She enjoyed teaching and touched the lives of many students throughout her career.   Mrs. Jeri was a world traveler, who learned to speak several languages like Greek and French.  She enjoyed painting, coloring, and will also be remembered as a professional clown.  Mrs. Jeri was a retired Methodist Minister.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Newton Pruette, Jr.; daughter, Michelle Pruette.
