She was a retired para-professional from Sunset Elementary School and a homemaker who was a talented seamstress, artist, and cook.

As a Charter Member of Trinity Baptist Church, she taught the four-and five-year-old Sunday School class for over 40 years and adored children of all ages, doting on her 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

An avid bridge player, she loved art classes at the Art Center, the Morning Glory Garden Club and her many friends.

She cherished her family and considered her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to be her greatest earthly treasure.
