Jean Betts Fuller

MOULTRIE, GA- Jean Betts Fuller, 89, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Grady General Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 28. 2022 at Funston Baptist Church with the Reverend Ron Shiver officiating.  Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel

Born October 3, 1933, in Chattahoochee FL, she was the daughter of the late Ausmus Outler Betts and Sybil Blair Betts.  Mrs. Jean retired from Slocumb Realty as a realtor and was an active member of Funston Baptist Church.   She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who loved her family dearly and was always making sure they were fed.   Mrs. Jean enjoyed cooking, fishing, watching Hallmark movies, sports, especially basketball.   She was a caring lady who always made you feel special, and she will be truly missed by all.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, and love of her life, Oscar Archie Fuller, Jr.; brother, Ausmus Betts; sister, Gwendolyn Wingate; second husband, John Wayne Dollar; nephew, Ron Betts.

Survivors include her children, Beth Smith (Don) of Dothan, AL, Ann Slocumb (Jerry) of Hartsfield, GA, Mike Dollar (Jan) of Claxton, GA; grandchildren, Jesse Miller (Terra), Suzanne Barfield, Donnie Smith (Shannon), Nick Smith (Tia), Amber Conoly (Brett), Shane Slocumb (Katie), Kelli Welser (Rich), Michala Dollar, Alyssa Dollar, Shelby Dollar; great-grandchildren, Dalton Miller, Addison Barfield, Emily Barfield, Hunter Smith (Emily), Ian Smith, Bailey Matthews, Sydney Matthews, Jay Conoly, Marcus Conoly, Maggie Wilson, Brynlee Welser, Kassidy Welser, Miles Slocumb; sister, Joyce Betts Ware of Climax; several extended family members and friends.
