Jamie Lee Truett

Jamie Lee Truett, 51, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Julian Griner officiating.  Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Jacob Long, Brian Gay, Ricky Hypes, Timothy Gay, Pete Thomas and David Peavey.

Born June 18, 1970, in Hahira, Georgia, he was the son of the late James D. Truett and Betty Lewis Truett.   He was a self-employed in the residential construction industry and a member of Baptist Grace Missionary in Middleburg Florida.   He liked going fishing, hunting, grilling, and golfing.   Mr. Truett loved his family, friends and enjoy spending time and joking with them.   He was an avid GA fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Truett.

Survivors include his grandchild, Skylar Hinton; sister, Cindy Adams of Moultrie; niece, Kayce Langston of Valdosta; nephew, Chad Langston of Moultrie; great-nephew, Jacob Long; great-niece, Kiarra Terry; brother-in-law, Lavon Palmer; beloved canine friends, Lacy and BamBam; pet squirrel, Lucky; several extended family members.
