James Dorsey McDuffie, Sr.

James Dorsey McDuffie, Sr., 76, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Born March 6, 1944 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Dewey Dorsey McDuffie and Grace Hitt McDuffie. Mr. McDuffie retired from the mobile home industry as a carpet installer with Tiffany Mobile Homes and Destiny Mobile Homes. He loved his family, enjoyed fishing and reading. Mr. McDuffie spent many hours tinkering with electronics and engines. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Keith Eric McDuffie and Dawn Michelle McDuffie. Survivors include his wife, Janice Jeanette Thaxton McDuffie of Moultrie; children, James D. McDuffie, Jr., Terry Thaxton both of Moultrie.
