MOULTRIE, GA – James Gary Lacey, III, 74, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Senior Care.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 24, 2024, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Julian Griner officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Born June 9, 1950, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Gary Lacey, Jr. and Laney Jo Wilson Lacey. Mr. Gary retired from Lacey Builders and was of the Baptist faith. He was a very skilled woodworker and all-around handyman. Mr. Gary enjoyed going bass fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Lacey; brother, Keith Lacey.
Survivors include his daughter, Laney Pate of Moultrie; grandchildren, Kayleigh Lacey, Morgan Pate, Lacey Pate; several great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Kem Lacey and wife Nancy of Moultrie; special friend, Evelyn Moxley; many other extended family members and friends.
