Jack Clower Tillman, Jr.

Moultrie, GA – Jack Clower Tillman, Jr., 84, of Moultrie, GA, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Senior Care surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, May 9, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Ricky McLaughlin officiating. Private family interment is at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

Born August 16, 1941, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Jack Clower Tillman and Ethel Short Tillman.

He was a forklift mechanic and auto machinist, and after retiring, he enjoyed tinkering, listening to Bluegrass and loved reading his Bible.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Dowdy Tillman; stepson, Jason Daniel Carlton and wife Julie; step-grandchildren, Payton Carlton Pulley and husband, David, Ian Carlton and Jordan Smith; step-great-grandson, Julian Pulley; sister-in-law, Louise Blackaby; favorite and special niece, Pat Owens; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
