Grace Lafern Holland Bryant, 85, of Hartsfield, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Pruitt Health Magnolia Manor in Moultrie.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gerald Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Baptist Cemetery. The family and friends will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday evening at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Born February 4, 1936, in Hartsfield, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lawton Holland and Lois Barrentine Holland. Mrs. Bryant was a lifelong member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. Being a devoted and loving mother, she enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and collecting Barbie dolls. Fellowshipping with others brought her great joy. She was a gifted seamstress who retired as a golden girl from Riverside Manufacturing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carley Dover Bryant.
Survivors include six daughters, Vicky Goff and husband Bobby of Coolidge, Loretta Del Prete of Moultrie, Kathy Huffstuttler and husband Charles of Tifton, Kimberly Taylor and husband Randall of Doerun, Tammy Henry and husband Tim of Doerun, Melissa “Bebe” Argo and husband Gary of Moultrie; grandchildren, Durrell Sadler, Christy Dryden, Shawn Sadler, Tasha Austin, Christopher Bryant, Spencer Argo, Lee Taylor, Daniel Argo; great-grandchildren, Dakotah Turpin, Carley Sadler, Camden Sadler, Taylor Wood, Sam Dryden, Cason Bryant, Charlie Bryant, Olivia Sadler, Riggs Taylor, Tessa Argo, Olivia Argo; brother Ronnie Holland and wife Sandra of Hartsfield; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
