Gloria Jean Taylor

Gloria Jean Taylor, 71, of Cairo, formerly of Moultrie, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Grady General Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born January 19, 1950, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of late Herschel Remmer Owens and Eula Louise Abercrombie.   Mrs. Taylor was a missionary and a member of the Full Gospel Chapel.   She loved doing God’s work, gardening and canning foods. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Barry Wayne Taylor; son, Anthony Taylor.

Survivors include her caregivers, Brenda Corley of Cairo, Beverly Jimenez of Moultrie, Rena Walker of Cairo; sister, Judy York of Hartsfield.
