Moultrie, Georgia – Gloria Hatcher Rogers, 93, of Doerun, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Legacy Village Park Regency, while surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, with Doctor David Benton and Pastor Tim Henry officiating. Entombment will follow at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 PM, Saturday, at the church.
Casketbearers will be Michael Rogers, Michael Todd Rogers, Justin Collins, Keith Rogers, Brian Goss and Peyton Collins.
Born September 30, 1932, in Mitchell County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late J.B. Hatcher and the late Irene Rigsby Hatcher.
She was a Human Resources Specialist with the Colquitt County Board of Commissioners. A very talented pianist, she played for many years at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, where she was a devoted and faithful member. Her favorite memories are of times when the family would gather for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at her daughter’s home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, sister and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Rogers; daughter, Margie Rogers Power; grandson, Reid Williams; sister, Twila Bond; and brother, Richard Hatcher.
Survivors include her children, Dennis Rogers and wife, Linda, Mark Rogers and wife, Donna, Suzanne Williams and Melanie Goss; grandchildren, Julie Halstead and husband, Bryant, Celeste Hortman and husband, Scott, Dustan Power, Michael Rogers, Missy Rogers, Keith Rogers, Katelyn Rogers, Camille Watson and husband, Will, Amy Collins and husband, Justin and Brian Goss and wife, Erica; fourteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Roy D. Beasley and Betty Henry; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends. She is also survived by her special caregivers, Carolyn Huckaby and Heather Kimsey.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Mt. Siani Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
