Glenn Lamar Cook, 59, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Ron Shiver officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Born November 19, 1961 in Camilla, Georgia, he was the son of the late William Frank “Tunk” Cook and Nettie Louvenia Morey Whittington. Mr. Cook was a diesel mechanic, semi-truck driver and a member of Funston Baptist Church. He loved his family and enjoyed shopping for clothes. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Carlton Cook of Moultrie; children, Brian Terrell Cook and wife Tiffany Lynn of Moultrie, Megan Elise Green and husband Dustin of Hartsfield, Melissa Gail Nichols and husband Cole of Doerun, Brandon Glenn Cook of Moultrie; special friend, Brenda Mills Trusow of Havana, FL; ten grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Cribbs of Crawfordville, FL.
