Moultrie, Georgia – Glenda Faye Cannon, 68, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with her grandson, Alex Stanford, family friend, Darren Yarborough and the Reverend Shane Smith officiating. Interment will be at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, March 20, 2026, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be James Alex Stanford, Jr., Joey Stanford, Shane Alexander, Gary Fortson, Steven Fortson, Michael Fortston Darron Stanford and Tony Cannon.

Born May 15, 1957, in Lagrange, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Raymond Alexander and the late Shirley Mae White Alexander.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Hartsfield; father-in-law, Ralph Cannon and mother-in-law, Lucille Cannon.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Alvin Cannon; sons, James Stanford and wife, Teresa, Tony Cannon and wife, Glynda; grandchildren, Autumn Alexis Stanford, James Alexander Stanford, Jr., Joey Chad Stanford and Scotty Cannon; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Alexander and Deborah West; nieces and nephews, Gary Fortson, Steven Forston, Shane Alexander and Heather Settles; as well as other extended family members and friends.

A devout follower of Christ, she was a former administrative assistant and accountant. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, working in her yard, animals, especially dogs, but most importantly, she loved her family.
