Gerry Akridge Alderman

 Gerry Ann Akridge Alderman, 73, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          A celebration of life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Norman officiating.  

          Born May 15, 1946 in Berlin GA, she was the daughter of the late Richard Earnest Akridge and Mattie Ruby Pyles Akridge Giddens Johnson.  Mrs. Alderman retired from Riverside Manufacturing Company as a supervisor and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.  Her family remembers how she enjoyed gardening, antiquing and going to yard sales.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reggie Lee Alderman; brothers, Gary Akridge and Gerald Akridge.

          Survivors include her son, Chadwick Lee Alderman of Morrisville NC; nephew, Curtis Akridge and wife Casey of Berlin GA; special friend, Emmalyn Johnson of Moultrie.
