Frances Christine Williams Folsom

Frances Christine Williams Folsom, 93, of Moultrie, died Friday, May 22, 2020 at her home.

          Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a graveside service will be held Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Matt Peek officiating.

          Born July 17, 1926 in Colquitt County, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Ervin Williams and Julia Harvey Williams.  Mrs. Folsom was a member of First Baptist Church in Moultrie and volunteered in the nursery.  She was a volunteer at Colquitt Regional Medical Center and a member of Highland Park Garden Club.  Mrs. Folsom loved her family, flowers and playing bridge.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winston B. Folsom; siblings, Curtis Williams, LaVon Williams, Ervie Dean Gregory, and Edith Williams.  

          Survivors include her son, Michael W. Folsom and Judy of Moultrie; daughters, Julie Davis and Roger of Lake City, FL, Karla Zimmerman and Barry of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Christopher Folsom and Kristen, Jeremy Folsom and Lindsey, Denise Carringer and Jacob, Josh Folsom and Stephanie, Rebekah Hobbs and Will, Mary Guilbert, Caleb Folsom and Laura, Abbie Ramey and Hoyt, Will Zimmerman, Jeanna Zimmerman, Heather Davis-Diaz and Mark, Courtney Davis and Marshall, Blair Davis; eighteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Folsom of Orlando, FL; brother, Don Williams and Bobbie of St. Mary’s, GA; numerous other family members.
