Florence Haymons Moore

Florence Haymons Moore, 66, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Monday, February 24, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Terron Stonecypher officiating.  Private interment will be held in Emerald Hill Cemetery. 

          The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

          Born April 16, 1953 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Dan Lester Haymons and Amanda Grace Haymons.  Mrs. Moore was homemaker and a member of Ione Baptist Church.  She enjoyed making crafts, dearly loved her family, was always thinking about others and thoroughly enjoyed Sunday family lunches.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Moore; brothers, Matt Haymons and Mark Haymons.

          Survivors include her son, Deric Moore and wife Sherry of Moultrie; grandchildren, Debra Moore Welch and husband Austin of Moultrie, Amber Moore of Moultrie; great-granddaughter, Skylar Ariel Welch; sisters, Tonita Legette of Moultrie, Betty Jo Barber of Satellite Beach, FL, Sylvia Gellner of Maryland; brother, Lester Haymons of Colorado.
