Flora Ann Lollar Mercer

MOULTRIE, GA – Flora Ann Lollar Mercer, 77, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend James Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be her grandchildren, Jebb Cato, Judd Cato, Adam Stanfill, Will Roberts, AnnaDale Roberts, Levi Stanfill, and Mason Moore. 

Born July 7, 1946, in Newton, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Dallas Pauline Day and James Tillman Lollar.     Ms. Flora was a bank teller at Moultrie National Bank for several years, and later retired from Bank of America.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved the Lord, her family, friends, and enjoyed spending time with them.    Ms. Flora was a collector of rare coins, Gone with the Wind and Coca-Cola memorabilia.   She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.    

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, David Stanfill; stepfather, William Clarence Day; siblings, Frances Pauline Lollar, James Junior Lollar, and Jimmy K. Lollar.             

Survivors include her daughters, Paula Cato and husband James, Tammy Mercer and friend Brian Tugwell, Wendy Mercer, Crystal Moore and husband Michael; grandchildren, Jebb Cato and wife Kaydee, Judd Cato and wife Hannah, Adam Stanfill and wife Haley, Will Roberts and wife Autumn, AnnaDale Roberts, Levi Stanfill, Mason Moore; great-grandchildren, Reagan Stanfill, Mason Stanfill, Nevaeh Stanfill, J. R. Stanfill, Jette Cato, Jaxx Cato, Kash Wheeler, and (baby on the way) Rhett Cato.
