Linda Faye Weathers, 68, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Strickland and the Rev. Austin Glass. Interment will follow in Emerald Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.
Casketbearers will be Ashley Dean, Joseph Dean, Trenton Weathers, Hunter Weathers, Ethan Wade and John Flowers. Honorary casketbearers will be Connor Weathers, Brayden Weathers, Clay Sloan, Wesley Sloan and Sawyer Sloan. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.
Born March 21, 1952 in Pavo, GA, she was the daughter of the late Reverend Howard Dean and Sally Pauline Palmer Dean. Mrs. Weathers was a homemaker and a member of Emerald Hill Baptist Church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Faye enjoyed watching game shows and cooking for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Dean.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Weathers of Moultrie; children, Linda Michelle Sloan and husband Will of Moultrie, Timothy Gary Weathers and wife Jamie of Berlin, Crystal Weathers Meeks and husband James of Norman Park; grandchildren, Brittni, Kelli, Autumn, Trenton, Ethan, Hunter, Josie, Connor, Laney, Kendall, Brayden, Ellie, Clay, Clayton, Wesley and Sawyer; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Dean and wife Jerrie, Carol Dean and wife Carol, Randy Dean and wife Lois, Billy Joe Dean and wife Shevellia, Ted Dean and wife Shirley all of Moultrie.
Memorial contributions may be made to Emerald Hill Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Faye.
