MOULTRIE, GA – Faye Bass Blount, 86, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Legacy Village at Park Regency.
No formal services are planned.
Born March 24, 1936, in Doerun Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell Bass and Rossie Meadows Bass. Mrs. Blount retired from the Colquitt County Board of Education as a teacher with over 48 years of service. She loved her family, her work family and enjoyed teaching her students.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Blount; sister, Sara Bass Lewis; brother, James Yarbrough.
Survivors include her nieces, Connie Norman of Hartsfield, Cherry Lewis of Moultrie: nephews, Bill Lewis and wife Sandra of Moultrie, Terry Lewis and wife Debbie of Tifton.
She loved the Legacy Village caregivers and their families.
