Emily Arlene Helmick Miller

Emily Arlene Helmick Miller, 67, of Berlin, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          A memorial service will be held at a later date.

          Born February 28, 1953 in McCoole, MD, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Hansford James Helmick and Ellamae Pyles Courtney.  Mrs. Miller retired from Price Concession’s and was of the Baptist faith.  She loved her family, coffee, cleaning yards and enjoyed being around people.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Vernon Courtney.

          Survivors include her children, Dawn Hobgood and husband Christopher of Berlin, Marie Martin and Leodan Barroso of Ray City, Steven Miller, Chris Miller and wife Amber all of Moultrie; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; dear friend, Kenny Purden.
