Eloise Perry Smith

Eloise Perry Smith, 87, of Moultrie, died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Pruitt Health-Magnolia Manor.

          Graveside services will be held 3:00PM Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Winston Baker officiating.  Friends are welcome to attend but social distancing will be required.

          Born September 5, 1932 in Cottonwood, AL, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Frank Perry and Stella Gertrude Morgan Perry.  Mrs. Smith was a retired childcare provider at the Kingsland GA Naval Base and was a member of the First Assembly of God.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchild, James Catlin Smith; sisters, Allie B. Grier, Lenora Dean Jernigan; brothers, Harvey Perry, Virgil Perry and Johnny Perry.

          Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Rev. James Henry Smith of Moultrie; children, Martha “Marti” Baker and husband Rev. Winston, Beverly Kay Ray, Sammy Frank Smith all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Shane Palmer and wife Monica, Lannie Baker and wife Melody, Hannah Brady and husband Seth, Turner Smith; great-grandchildren, Ava Palmer, Livia Palmer, Lanier Baker, Jayse Brady and Hynlee Kate Brady; special niece, Sarah Elizabeth Lewis of Camilla and several other family members.
