Douglas Jordan

Douglas Jordan, 75, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at his home.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 PM Friday, September 10, 2021 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.  Interment will be in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

Born October 29, 1945, in Colquitt County, Georgia, he was the son of the late William R. Jordan and Ruby Lee Rosencrantz Jordan.  Mr. Jordan was a United States Army Veteran.  He retired from Destiny Mobile Home as a carpenter and was a member of Temple Baptist Church.  He enjoyed watching western shows and being outside hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Amarylis Blender Abercrombie Jordan; brother, James W. Jordan, nephews Richard Johnson and William Timothy Johnson.

Survivors include his son, Michael Craig Jordan and fiancé Sandy Jackson of Moultrie; sisters, Mary Frances Johnson and Ruby Kathleen Walker, nieces Susan Abercrombie-Davis and husband Brett, Sabrena Walker, nephew James Anthony Walker and Lynn Johnson, great niece Cate Davis.
