MOULTRIE, GA.- Doug Melvin Sangster, 62, of Moultrie, died Friday, May 22, 2020 at his home. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a graveside service will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Friends are welcome to attend but social distancing will be required. Born May 11, 1958 in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Noah Sangster and Patricia Blake Sangster. Mr. Sangster was affiliated with Destiny Mobile Homes for 30 years. He was a cabinet builder and attended New Covenant Church. He loved Nascar racing, shooting pool and was a jokester. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hargraves Sangster; brother, Johnny Sangster; sister, Shirley Martin. Survivors include his sons, Shannon Sangster and Tammy of Moultrie, Eric Sangster and Nick of Apopka, FL; grandchildren, Angelica Sangster, Shanna Sangster, Noah Yates, Zack Reddock, Calab Harrison, Aiden Martins-Sangster; significant other, Elisha Chason of Moultrie; brothers, Jerry Sangster, Noah Sangster, Jr. and sisters, Kathy Martin of Moultrie, Linda Nobile of Apopka, FL. Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
