Dorothy Ann Bass

MARIETTA, GA – Dorothy Ann Bass, 85, of Marietta, and formerly of Albany, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025. 

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Cobb Funeral Chapel on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the Service Hour.

Born August 29, 1939, in Bainbridge, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Alto and Henrietta Broadaway. She was a graduate of Albany High School. Mrs. Dorothy worked as an Engraver for Albany Bowling Supplies for several years and also as the Clerk of Courts for Terrell County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Bass.

Mrs. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Craig Bass and wife Katherine of Dayton, Ohio and James Bass and wife Angela of Powder Springs, Georgia; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
