Doris Jean Moore Cude

Doris Jean Moore Cude, 74, of Moultrie passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Preacher Zack Griffin officiating.  Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM Saturday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Norman George, Ronny George, Marty Warren, Benny Warren, Marshall Moore and Trent Harrington. 

Born September 28, 1946, in California, she was the daughter of the late Brownie Marshall Moore and Margaret Ruth Moran Moore.  Mrs. Cude retired from Riverside and Sun States as a seamstress and was a member of Moultrie Church of Christ.   She loved her family, church family and most of all our Lord.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting, attending water classes at the YMCA, and cooking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Basil Cude; daughter, Donna Renee Harrington; brother, Brownie Marshall Moore, Jr.; sons-in-law, Tommy Lastinger and Bryant Harrington.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly A. Russell and husband Andy of Moultrie; grandchildren, Justin Andrew Russell, Heather M. Lyninger and husband Zac; great-grandchildren, Kaden Russell and Jason Russell; sisters, Dannie George and husband Jimmy of Bonaqua TN, Frances Warren and husband Richard of Lyles, TN; beloved cat, Elvis; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
