Doerun, Georgia – Delores Marlin Sellers, 81, of Doerun, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 23, 2026, at First Baptist Church Doerun, with the Reverend Doctor David Benton and family friend, Daniel Chafin officiating. Interment will be at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 PM, Monday, March 23, 2026, at First Baptist Church Doerun.
Casketbearers will be Buddy Hurst, Gabe Chastain, Kody Jarrell, Camden Hurst, Bo Anderson and Keith Edthridge.
Born October 1, 1944, in Bridgeboro, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Henry Mercer Marlin and the late Lucille Brady Marlin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Alfred Sellers; son, Michael Sellers; brother, Carlos Brady; and son-in-law, Kim Chitty.
Survivors include her children, Deborah Chitty, Rhonda Frye and husband, Jamie, Karen Conner and husband, Richard, Gene Sellers and wife, Teresa, Darren Sellers; grandchildren, Shannon Jarrell and wife, Tabitha, Kandice Hurst and husband, Buddy, Jennifer Chitty, Seven Chitty, Ramsey Sellers and wife, Savannah, Alyssa Frye, Gabby Frye, Devon Kersh, Makayla Kersh; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other extended family members and friends. She is also survived by a special friend, Keith Ethridge.
A devoted member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, she spent many years as a self-employed cleaning many churches and banks. She loved gospel music, was a hard worker and deeply loved her family.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
