Debra Brooks Silvi

Baconton, Georgia – Debra Brooks Silvi, 71, of Baconton, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, while surrounded by her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, 421 Edgewood Lane, Albany, Georgia 31707, with the Reverend Ray Levreault, VF celebrating. Interment will be at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 AM, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church.

Born October 17, 1954, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Hall Brook and the late Edna Goss Brooks. She is also preceded in death by a son, Joshua Nicholas Silvi.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony John Silvi; son, John Anthony Silvi, II; brother, Gary Hall Brooks; aunt, Imogene Gamble; as well as several cousins and other extended family members.

A member of the Catholic faith, she cherished time spent with her family and keeping in contact with her classmates. She enjoyed reading, was a voracious writer and loved animals, especially cats.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
