David Michael McWilliams

ALBANY, GA.- David Michael McWilliams, 75, of Albany, died Friday, February 16, 2024, at his home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.  

Born May 21, 1948, in Dayton, OH, he was the son of the late Clarence Russell McWilliams and Leona Seaman McWilliams.  Mr. McWilliams was a Vietnam Veteran, having faithfully served his country in the US Navy as a Naval Construction Force Seabee.  He was a welder and blacksmith who could make or repair almost anything on land or sea.  Mr. McWilliams enjoyed taking photographs and was interested in all things relating to the history of Native American Indians.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Sue Johnson McWilliams; and a grandson, Michael Cerfus.

Survivors include his children, Sue Ann Reyna and husband Joe, Sheryl Lynn Cerfus and husband Joey, Scotty Wayne McWilliams and wife Vivian; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandy McWilliams Baker; special nephew, Ricky McWilliams and wife Libby; along with several extended family members and friends. 

Cobb Funeral Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
