Darrell Harmon Sellers

MOULTRIE, GA – Darrell Harmon Sellers, 83, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Julian Griner.  Interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45PM Thursday at Cobb Funeral Chapel. 

Born June 11, 1940, in Colquitt County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Johnnie Harmon Sellers and Alma Pope Sellers.  Darrell was a United States Air Force Veteran.  He was a self-employed welder and attended Kingwood Baptist Church.   He loved his family, farming and working his cows.  Darrell enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching westerns, going camping and reading western books.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lynn Gay Sellers, second wife, Beverly Koslowski Sellers; stepsons, John Sheets and Frank Sheets.

Survivors include his children, Brian Sellers and wife Lara of Enigma, Leanna Sellers of Moultrie; stepchildren, Rhonda Sheets Roberts and Tony of Murrayville, Bob Sheets and Julie of Leesburg, Chuck Sheets and Beverly of Dalton; grandchildren, JD Sellers and fiancé Lexi Bruner, Marcus Gay, Joshua Gay; sister, Janice Sellers Powell and husband Tony of Moultrie; several step-grandchildren and other extended family members and friends.
