Daniel Larry Arrington

Moultrie, Georgia – Daniel Larry Arrington, 80, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Hugh Ward officiating. Private interment will be at Funston City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 PM, Thursday, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Charles Moore, Daniel Brinson, Timothy Brinson, Jared Lee, Chuck Arrington and Wesley Bowers.

Born October 8, 1945, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the only son of the late Duel Glen Arrington and the late Margaret Young Arrington.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Willis Arrington; and his sister, Marvelyne Arrington.

He was the owner and operator of Arrington Diversified Services, was an expert welder, craftsman, fabricator and inventor, and he was also a master gardener. A man of the Baptist faith, he loved the Lord and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Debbie Prince, Donna Brinson and husband, Mark, Danny Arrington and wife, Cathy and Donnie Arrington; grandchildren, Mary Hobgood, Ashley Crenshaw and husband, Andrew, Daniel Brinson and wife, Kayla, Timothy Brinson, Christina Lee and husband, Jared, Jesilyn Arrington, Zach Strickland, Kameron Cooper and wife, Kynzee and Trent Cook; six great-grandchildren; sister, Nell Muller and husband, Hugh; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family; and a special friend, Patsy Vickers Jones.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
