Colt Kenneth Hancock, 51, of Moultrie, died Friday, October 16, 2020, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
The funeral service will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at First Church of the Nazarene in Moultrie with Pastor James Pendell, Pastor Rodney Nix, and Mr. Andy Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends in the church fellowship hall one hour prior to the service. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.
Casketbearers will be Joey Tillery, Will Pitts, Terry McCracken, Aaron Goff, Shain Petty, and Jody Terry.
Born February 21, 1969, in Moultrie, GA, he was the son of Patricia Terry Hancock and the late Kenneth Ellis Hancock. Mr. Hancock was a lifelong member of the First Church of the Nazarene where he was the former Youth Coordinator. He was a loving and caring person, always thinking of others before thinking of himself.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Howard Terry, Ellis Hancock, and Vaudell Hancock.
In addition to his mother, survivors include brother Cody Hancock and wife Anita, grandmother Betty Terry, niece Hannah Hancock Pitts and husband Will, nephew Hunter Hancock of Moultrie, great nephews Logan Pitts, and Palmer Pitts, all of Moultrie. Special friends include Andy Rhodes, Wally Arnold, Shain Petty, Brian Tapscott, and Jerry Miller.
