Charles “Chuck” Ray Taylor, Jr.

Charles Ray Taylor, Jr. "Chuck", 43, of Ochlocknee GA, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Northside Hospital-Gwinnett.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 22, 2023, at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Reverend Dion Brown officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 AM Saturday at New Bethel Baptist Church.

Casket bearers will be Will Whitfield, Reto Segura, Josh Baxter, Brandon Truett, Lee Roberts and Ted Palmer.

Born September 10, 1979, in Thomasville, Georgia, he was the son of Sue Willingham Taylor of Ochlocknee and the late Charles Ray Taylor Sr. Chuck was an automation technician at Micro Automation and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He loved the Lord, his family, church family, co-workers and friends. Chuck was a wonderful caring man, who had a great personality, fantastic sense of humor, and was always supportive of others. He had a natural talent for photography and enjoyed hiking.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dock Willingham, and Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Dixon.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his siblings, Michael R. Galloway, Jr. and Natalie, Joshua Taylor and wife Nicole; nieces and nephews, Saphara Baldinger, Marriah Galloway, Hattie Galloway, Michael Dangler, Gaige Galloway, Johnathan Taylor; and several extended family members and friends.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
