Moultrie, Georgia – Charles Edward Rowe, Jr., 79, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Archbold Living in Pelham, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 24, 2026, Date, at Cobb Funeral Chapel Gardens with the Reverend Name officiating. Private entombment will be at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 PM, Friday, July 24, 2026, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born September 27, 1946, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was a son of Charles Edward Rowe, Sr. and Margaret Leona Aldridge Rowe, of blessed memory.

Survivors include his sister, Charlotte Cunningham and partner, Robert Carlson; nephews, Brian Cunningham and wife, Rachel and Chris Cunnigham; as well as other extended family members and countless friends he has touched throughout the years.

During his younger years, he worked as a disc jockey, where his outgoing personality and love of music brought joy to many. This led to life-long interest in radio broadcasting and telecommunications. He later pursued higher education, earning a Master of Science degree, and dedicated his professional life to serving others as a substance abuse counselor for many years. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Moultrie and a devoted University of Georgia football enthusiast who proudly supported the Bulldogs every season.
