Cecil Walter Hancock, Jr.

Cecil Walter Hancock, Jr., 69, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.

Born April 8, 1953, in Pelham, Georgia, he was the son of the late Cecil Walter Hancock and Martha Missouri Brumblow Hancock.   Mr. Cecil retired from his construction company, Hancock Drywall and Remodeling.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting coins.   Cecil was a humble, caring man who could always make you laugh and smile and will be missed by many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Rebecca Worrell and Patsy Hancock; brothers, Dalton Hancock and John Ross Hancock.

Survivors include his children, Richard A. Hancock and wife LaDonna, Shannon D. Hancock, Cecil Walton Hancock and wife Jennifer all of Moultrie; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and other family members.
