Carolyn Chambers Gregory

 Dolly Carolyn Chambers Gregory, 75, of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Julian Griner officiating.   Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be John Gandy, Barrett Patel, Richard Allegood and Cameron Taylor.

Born March 4, 1947, in Macon, GA, she was the daughter of the late Elbert Burton Chambers, Sr. and Dolly Dimple Mitchem Chambers.   Mrs. Gregory retired from Colony Bank as a bank teller and was of the Baptist faith.   She loved her family and working in the banking industry.  Mrs. Gregory enjoyed shopping, canning foods, going to the beach, and visiting the Great Smoky Mountains.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Elbert Burton Chambers, Jr. and Jessie Ronald Chambers.

Survivors include her husband, Coy Gregory of Moultrie; daughter, Lisa Dianne Gregory Guess and husband Dan of Naples, FL; grandchild, Amanda Joy Guess Hicks and husband Dale; several nieces, nephews and other family members.
