Moultrie, Georgia – Carolyn Yvonne Griffin Clark, 89, of Moultrie, Georgia, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Graveside rites will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Reverend Julian Griner and Mrs. Melody Jenkins officiating. Interment will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Beard, Jack Duncan, Darrell Griffin, Dwayne Griffin and James Marshall.

Born July 2, 1936, in Ellenton, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Archie Owen Griffin and the late Nettie Lou Hood Griffin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Joe” Guy Clark; infant sons, Guy Clark, Gary Wayne Clark, Jerry Lynn Clark; and brother, Thomas “Buddy” Griffin.

Survivors include her children, Jo Beth Beard and husband, David, Donna Duncan and husband, Jack, Brian Clark; grandchildren, Clark Duncan and wife, Lisa, Abby Beard, JoDee Clark, Jana Ogden and husband, Parker, Kaley Crosby and husband, Jeremy, Staci Williams and husband, Tres, Hunter Clark; great-grandchildren, Sally Clark, Lily Rae Duncan, Hallie Drew Ogden, Jonah Thomas Ogden, Easton Crosby, Noah Crosby, Winn Williams; sister, Joan Marshall; sisters-in-law, Betty Benefield Griffin, Vera Barlow Clark; as well as a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and friends.

A 1954 graduate of Moultrie High School, she was a librarian with the Colquitt County Library Bookmobile for many years. She was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She took pride in keeping her yards immaculate and enjoyed gardening.
