Carolyn Morrell Cleckley Boyette

Coolidge, Georgia – Carolyn Morrell Cleckley Boyette, 81, of Coolidge, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Thomasville Health and Rebab, Thomasville, Georgia, while surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Big Creek Baptist Church in Coolidge, Georgia, with the Reverend Don Prevatt and Mr. William Glass officiating. Interment will be at Big Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 AM, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the church.

Casketbearers will be Austin Prevatt, Hudson Prevatt, Kevin Bailey, Tyler Boyette, Taylor Donalson and Ryan York. Honorary pallbearers are William Glass, Landon Sampson, Joe Clark, Charlie Clark, Jason Boyette and Billy Joe McCoy.

Born July 17, 1943, in Clanton, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Reedie Cleckley and Gertrude Baker Cleckley.

She was a dedicated homemaker and always had unwavering faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, William Joseph “Billy” Boyette, Jr.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, William Joseph “Billy Joe” Boyette; children, Jeff Boyette and wife Brenda, Toni Prevatt, Kim York and husband Al; grandchildren, Ashley Donalson and husband Taylor, Tyler Boyette, Tiffany Clanton and husband Dillon, Hudson Prevatt and Endsley Wilson, Austin Prevatt and wife Chelsie, Alyssa York, Ryan York, Kevin Bailey and wife Tonya, Christopher Boyette Baggett, Joseph Boyette Baggett; great-grandchildren, Landon, Willow, Caroline, Emma, Pierson, Palmer Kate, Fletcher, Blakeleigh, Abner, Braxton, Layla, Fisher, Kevin; sister, Linda Kay Tucker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the The Parkinson’s Foundation.
