Carol Jean Hopkins Strickland

MOULTRIE, GA – Carol Jean Hopkins Strickland, 77, of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

No formal services are planned.

Born March 1, 1945, in Lebanon, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Herman T. Hopkins and Ruth Nichol Hopkins.  Mrs. Strickland was a nurse at Colquitt Regional Medical Center and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.  She had a great love for her family, dogs, and her patients.   Mrs. Strickland enjoyed spending time on the water.

Survivors include her husband, Andy Strickland of Moultrie; children, Jenny Lott, Tommy Strickland and wife Shanna all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Savanna Lott, Payton Lott, Ryder Brinson, Jayden Strickland; great-grandchild, Paxton Scott; siblings, Peggy Daily of California, Judy Maahs of Moultrie, Marcia Thomas of California, Patricia Patton of Moultrie, Sandy Littelfield of California, Timothy Hopkins, Kathy Curtis both of California; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
