Candi Guess Allegood

Candi Guess Allegood, 60, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Minister Zack Griffin officiating.  Interment will follow in Bridge Creek Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 1-1:45PM Thursday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Roger Clayton, Eric Clayton, Robbie Clayton, Cameron Taylor, Justin Roberson and Ottis Bryant.

Born August 24, 1961, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James “Sonny” Guess and Madeline Williams Guess.  Mrs. Candi was a homemaker and a member of the Moultrie Church of Christ.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Mrs. Candi liked reading, cooking, and going fishing and was an avid football and baseball fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ronnie Taylor; nephew, Adam Taylor; mother and father-in-law, Penny and Harold Allegood.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Allegood of Moultrie; children, Kristen Kiser and husband Carlton, Courtney Loftis and husband Chris all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Ethan Allegood, Brantley Loftis, John Maddox Loftis, Katie Kiser, Hailey Kiser and Zach Kiser; sister, April Taylor-Sellers and Randy of Moultrie.
