Buddy Allen

MOULTRIE, GA – Charles Edmon “Buddy” Allen, 83, of Moultrie, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Tallahassee Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 7, 2022, at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Stanley Norman officiating. 

Casketbearers will be the members of Pine Grove Adult Sunday School Class.

Born September 13, 1939, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late J.D. Allen and Gussie Folsom Allen.  Mr. Buddy was a United States Army Veteran and retired from Destiny Mobile Homes as a final finish technician.  He loved the Lord, his family, his church family and enjoyed working in the yard.   He was always staying busy.  Mr. Buddy was an active member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ann Thompson and Carolyn Harlow.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Joyce Taylor Allen of Moultrie; siblings, Lucille Sellers and husband Gene, Terry Allen and wife Deirdre all of Moultrie.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Grove Benevolence Fund in honor of Mr. Buddy Allen, 4374 Old Adel Road, Moultrie, GA 31768.
