Brenda Ann Fowler Hornsby

Moultrie, GA – Brenda Ann Fowler Hornsby, 78, of Moultrie, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center, while surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 23, 2025, at Riverside Holiness Church, with the Reverend Mark Jordan officiating. Interment will be at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 until 1:45 pm, Friday, at the church.

Casketbearers will be: Tony Arnold, Jerry Bennett, Brandon Jordan, Randy Odom, Dewitt Jordan and Matthew Stout .

Born May 20, 1947, in Moultrie, she was a daughter of the late Clem Redden “C.R.” Fowler and Nora Gladys Eubanks Fowler. She worked at Riverside Manufacturing Company for many years as Benefits Specialist and was a faithful member at Riverside Holiness Church. As a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she made sure to always instill in her family Christian values.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey William Hornsby, Sr.

Survivors include her sons, Aubrey William “Bill” Hornsby, Jr. and wife Amy, Christopher Todd Hornsby and wife Sabrina; grandchildren, Colton Jace Hornsby, Bryson Aubrey Hornsby, Bryn May Yarbrough and Brooke Susan Yarbrough; sister, Bonnie Fowler Gosa and Cecil C. Fowler and wife Robin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Flowers are being accepted or memorial contributions can be made to Riverside Holiness Church, 2505 West Boulevard, Moultrie, GA 31768.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
